We are looking for an Intelligence Analyst who doesn't just monitor data but translates the 'so-what' into mission-critical decisions that keep people and assets safe. In this role, your analysis will be the bridge between raw threat intelligence and executive action. You will take pride in the fact that your briefs provide our clients with the advantage they need to protect their global operations in real-time. Working hours for this position are 9-5 PST.

We have a role for you if you:

  • effectively execute on tasks and responsibilities independently, while collaborating with other team members on more complex tasks.

  • have a track record of breaking down technical topics and communicating risks to both technical and executive audiences

  • have detailed knowledge of the communication platforms where threat actors operate and the ability to identify nefarious activities, such as large-scale fraud or scams.

  • have a strong ability to produce accurate analysis and key judgments for inclusion on finished intelligence reports.

  • Have a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to an ever-evolving digital and physical risk landscape.

What you will get to do on our team

  • Transform vast amounts of raw data into concise, high-quality tactical and strategic assessments that inform decision makers

  • Conduct proactive monitoring across the Deep & Dark Web to elicit intelligence on cyber and physical threats.

  • Identify and nominate new collection sources to ensure Flashpoint maintains the industry's broadest and deepest data set.

  • Work across internal functions to identify "unknown unknowns" for global organizations.

  • Synthesize data from Flashpoint's proprietary tools and external platforms to drive enhanced analysis and sophisticated alerting services.

  • Safeguard internal operations by adhering to security protocols and effectively navigate secure virtual environments

What you will achieve

  • Within 30 days

  • You will have been fully onboarded and integrated into a team of professional intelligence analysts and assigned a mentor to guide you through your initial journey at Flashpoint. Your team will have provided you with accesses, resources, and training necessary to begin tackling deliverables.

  • Within 60 days

    • You will have completed onboarding and familiarized yourself with internal team operations.

    • You will have developed a robust understanding of customer intelligence requirements and initiated relevant research related to delivery of client deliverables.

  • By 90 days

    • You will have carried out your own investigations in support of intelligence requirements and drafted and published the findings from these initial investigations within Flashpoint intelligence platform.

    • You will have become familiar with teams outside of your own team and begun building working relationships to assist you become successful in your career.

    • You will have become completely comfortable with handling day-to-day deliverables and tasks on your own and become confident in your abilities to work independently or on a team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven background in cyber threat intelligence, research, or hunting, with a specific ability to identify and deconstruct sophisticated fraud, scams, and large-scale abuse targeting global retailers and enterprises.

  • Exceptional analytical writing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical data into high-impact assessments that guide decision-making for both technical teams and executive leadership.

  • Mastery in sifting through massive datasets using a blend of open-source command line tools, industry-standard platforms, and proprietary internal tools to uncover hidden risks and emerging threat actor tactics.

  • Deep understanding of the digital and physical risk landscapes facing large-scale corporations, including the defensive frameworks and mitigation strategies used to protect global assets.

  • A proactive approach to engaging the security community for infrastructure disruption, combined with the ability to translate high-level customer requirements into actionable intelligence collection plans.
