The Intel Analyst monitors online sources for threats, analyzes intelligence, produces reports, and collaborates with management and clients.
About the role:
The SIS Intelligence Analyst is responsible for producing intelligence products and regularly monitoring online open sources for potential security and operational threats. The Analyst will interface with the client and SIS management and is expected to provide expert advice on matters related to security intelligence. The Intel Analyst reports to the Intel Manager.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Conduct regular monitoring sweeps through online open sources for known and potential threats to company security, operations, and reputation
- Effectively analyze relevant threats and produce actionable intelligence deliverables promptly
- Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of issues related to global security, such as petty and violent crime trends, disruptive protests, weather conditions, natural disasters, travel concerns, and socio-economic and geopolitical dynamics
- Lead the development of new intelligence products as well as analyze existing intelligence products to provide recommendations for improvement
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
As a candidate, you must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Latin American Studies, Strategic Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or other related studies; Master's Degree preferred or equivalent military/professional intelligence training
- Three plus years of academic or professional experience in research, analysis, and development of intelligence products/reports
- Proficiency in PC and iOS hardware and software, including word processing, data analysis, presentation, visual, mapping programs, major social media platforms, and investigative and risk management tools
- Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted
- Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm, with the ability to delivera high level of customer service
- Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team when needed
