About the Role

As an Integrations Engineer, you'll own the technical relationship with our largest enterprise customers, guiding them from first demo to full deployment and beyond. This hybrid role blends pre-sales engineering, implementation leadership, and ongoing technical support, making it ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the technical partner to Sales during discovery and demo cycles, shaping scalable integration plans.

  • Lead technical onboarding and implementation projects from kickoff through go-live.

  • Design, document, and manage customer API integrations (RESTful APIs, webhooks, and ETL workflows).

  • Coordinate with internal Engineering and Product teams to deliver customized, performant solutions.

  • Deliver technical training, troubleshoot issues, and support configuration/integration challenges.

  • Serve as the long-term technical point-of-contact for enterprise clients, including during QBRs and roadmap planning.

Who We're Looking For:

  • 3–6 years in a technical customer-facing role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation Specialist).

  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, or ETL pipelines.

  • Proficient in tools like Postman, API gateways, and data mapping tools.

  • Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT), and API versioning best practices.

  • Comfortable reading/writing basic scripts or queries (e.g., Python, SQL, or JavaScript).

  • Project management experience—able to handle timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to a non-technical audience.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience at a startup or growth-stage SaaS company, especially in healthcare, healthtech, or fintech.

  • Familiarity with common healthcare data formats (e.g., X12).

  • Understanding of EHR/PM systems (such as Crystal PM, RevolutionEHR, or Eyefinity).

  • Exposure to tools like GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and HubSpot.

  • Prior involvement in security reviews, SOC2/ISO compliance processes, or RFP responses.

  • Experience with customer data migrations or middleware platforms (e.g., Zapier)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
