Overview
We are looking for several experienced Integration Program Managers. These roles are responsible for managing integrations across several functional areas throughout a large enterprise organization. This requires strategic planning, coordination, facilitation and overseeing the successful delivery of multiple programs’ deliverables including overall results and strategizing with necessary stakeholders. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relevant systems, strategy, documentation, reports, and processes. This position is in the Northeast USA region and will require 80% travel in the Northeast as a hybrid role. All qualified applicants must live in the United States and be authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship. We will prioritize candidates living in the Northeast with the required experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as Program Manager, developing program structure for integration activities across several functions on behalf of the PMO or organization.
- Develop project plans for each workstream, along with weekly/monthly status reporting.
- Daily, hands-on program management throughout the program life cycle for all workstreams.
- Document program and project deliverables utilizing PMI, PMP methodology.
- Plan and monitor the progress of complex programs and multiple workstreams.
- Integrate business policies and governance processes into planning and accountability for project roadmaps and strategy.
- Establish risk management, escalation paths, and take corrective measurements.
- Build and manage budget, actuals and forecast for the merger integration program.
- Schedule, facilitate and lead program and projest workstream meetings.
- Create and manage stakeholders’ communication at all levels of the organization.
- Identify and report program KPIs to assess impact.
- Coordinate, manage and monitor the workflow of cross-functional teams.
- Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project artifacts and deliverables.
- Align deliverables (outputs) to the program/project workstream’s “outcome”
- Own overall integrated project plan and support cross-functional resources, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and achievement of business goal.
- Consistently exercise informed judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Desired Skills & Experience
Candidates must have proven experience in program and/or project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. Candidates must have the following:
- Minimum of 7 years strong program management experience managing multiple workstreams.
- Consulting experience with integration activities across several functional areas is required and must include either operations, product, engineering, finance/acctg or human resources.
- Industry experience in telecommunications, broadband or cable industry is required.
- Ability to travel 80% (4 days per week).
- Advanced experience with Excel and PPT are a must.
- Experience with merger integrations in enterprise environments is highly desired.
- Proven knowledge of program management methodology such as Agile, scrum.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder, and management skills, including executive presence.
- Good knowledge of resource allocation procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills to stakeholders including the ability to influence, strategize and negotiate.
- Ability to think critically and process information quickly, presenting a succinct and insightful format for executives.
- Strong analytical, documentation and reporting skills are desired.
- Direct hands-on proficiency with Advanced Excel, SmartSheet, and PowerPoint.
Education/Certifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or similar
· PMP certification is desired
· MBA is preferred
