The Integration Engineer will coordinate blockchain integrations, resolve technical issues, educate developers on Arbitrum technology, and enhance the developer experience.
At Offchain Labs, we are not just building products — we’re leading a movement.
We are committed to creating a decentralized, secure, and transparent future through blockchain technology. Our mission is to push the boundaries of blockchain innovation and foster a creative, collaborative, and inclusive culture where ideas can come to life. We know that the future of blockchain technology is limitless, and the best way to achieve this is by working with the brightest minds.
We’re looking for thinkers and doers who are eager to embrace new challenges and seek solutions that will push existing boundaries. If you believe in the importance of transparency, trust, and the decentralization of control, and if you’re curious, adaptable, and want to disrupt the status quo, then we want to hear from you.
Why Offchain Labs?
Our team is committed to bridging the gap between the current state of blockchain and its potential. Our flagship product, Arbitrum One, is a dominant force in Ethereum scaling and is trusted by enterprises, developers, and users worldwide. But that’s just the beginning. Our passionate team is constantly building on this success, rolling out innovative tools such as Arbitrum AnyTrust, Arbitrum Orbit, Stylus, BoLD, and Arbitrum Nitro. Offchain Labs also contributes to the Ethereum core protocol with the Prysm consensus client.
Following the successful raising of $3.8M in seed funding in January 2019, as well as $20M in Series A and $100M in Series B funding in 2021, we are looking to expand our team. We invite individuals with a strong interest in blockchain and a talent for approaching problems from unique perspectives to join us in shaping the future of this dynamic field.
At Offchain Labs, we steward the giant technical ecosystem around Arbitrum technology bridging across a broad variety of products and use cases. As part of the Integration Engineering team at Offchain Labs, you'll be leading the effort to make sure teams successfully understand and make use of the tech we build, including dApps, RaaS (Rollup-as-a-Service) providers running Orbit chains and Stylus developers. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited about blockchain, has excellent communication abilities and is enthusiastic to learn more from the team, including our CTO.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate and execute integration with popular dApps and blockchain ecosystems
- Be on the front lines of technical issues arriving during integrations, and quickly resolve any issues
- Educate developers about Arbitrum technology through a combination of writing, calls, and presentations
- Own the Arbitrum developer experience, clearly and accurately understanding developer pain points and explaining them internally
- Create tooling and contribute to efforts to improve the Arbitrum developer experience
- Develop in-depth knowledge and specialization about different areas of the stack over time
What you’ll need:
- A solid understanding of the EVM, Solidity, and how Ethereum works, or strong curiosity and the ability to pick it up quickly
- Comfortable with CS fundamentals
- Some hands-on experience with TypeScript in a full-stack environment, especially with frameworks like React and Ethereum tools like Ethers, Web3, or Truffle
- A passion for decentralized applications and smart contracts and a willingness to keep learning
- Excitement to dive into cutting-edge scalability protocols and help bring new research into real-world use
- Clear, open, and direct communication style. You collaborate well with others and feel comfortable asking questions or contributing ideas openly
- You're a great team player who communicates clearly and contributes actively to group discussions and problem-solving
- You're proactive, helpful, and look for ways to contribute beyond just your assigned tasks
- You're curious about how Arbitrum works, both its features and how it fits into the broader Ethereum ecosystem, and eager to deepen that knowledge over time
- Bonus: If you’ve explored any L2s or built your own project, we’d love to hear about it—even if it’s a small one!
Perks:
- Remote-first global workforce + NY office
- Annual company offsite + team onsites
- Professional reimbursement program (facilitates industry conference attendance, certifications, and more)
- Medical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries)
- 401k retirement plan + company match (US only)
- Wellness stipend
- Home office set up / ergonomic equipment program
