Position Overview: 

Emerging Tech is seeking an Integration Architect to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. The Integration Architect will be responsible for managing IT-related projects, ensuring system integration, and supporting the implementation of electronic health records. This role is ideal for a highly experienced professional with deep knowledge of IT project management, lifecycle methodologies, and risk mitigation within complex healthcare environments. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage IT-related projects, including oversight of system integration and workflow alignment. 

  • Apply project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor project deliverables. 

  • Track project costs, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure timely and accurate completion. 

  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation. 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions. 

  • Support the design, development, and enhancement of IT systems in a healthcare/clinical environment. 

Qualifications: 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of professional work experience. 

  • Experience managing IT-related projects. 

  • Well-versed in lifecycle and project management methodologies. 

  • Experience tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress. 

  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively. 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical/scientific discipline (or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree). 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting VA programs. 

  • Experience implementing electronic health records (EHR) systems. 

  • Specific expertise in some of the following areas:  

  • Clinical Solutions (PowerChart,  Message Center,  Care Compass, Patient Portal, Powerforms, Dynamic Documentation, IView, Tasking, Order Management, mPages) 

  • Ancillary Solutions: Pharmacy, General Laboratory, Pathology, Blood Bank, Supply Chain 

  • Business Operations: Patient Accounting, Charge Services, HIM, Registration, Scheduling 

  • Reporting Solutions: DA2, Discern Visual Developer, Discern Reporting Portal, PowerBI, Lights On
