Position Overview:
Emerging Tech is seeking an Integration Architect to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. The Integration Architect will be responsible for managing IT-related projects, ensuring system integration, and supporting the implementation of electronic health records. This role is ideal for a highly experienced professional with deep knowledge of IT project management, lifecycle methodologies, and risk mitigation within complex healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage IT-related projects, including oversight of system integration and workflow alignment.
Apply project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor project deliverables.
Track project costs, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions.
Support the design, development, and enhancement of IT systems in a healthcare/clinical environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of professional work experience.
Experience managing IT-related projects.
Well-versed in lifecycle and project management methodologies.
Experience tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress.
Ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical/scientific discipline (or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting VA programs.
Experience implementing electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Specific expertise in some of the following areas:
Clinical Solutions (PowerChart, Message Center, Care Compass, Patient Portal, Powerforms, Dynamic Documentation, IView, Tasking, Order Management, mPages)
Ancillary Solutions: Pharmacy, General Laboratory, Pathology, Blood Bank, Supply Chain
Business Operations: Patient Accounting, Charge Services, HIM, Registration, Scheduling
Reporting Solutions: DA2, Discern Visual Developer, Discern Reporting Portal, PowerBI, Lights On
