BAE Systems Platforms and Services is seeking a Sustainment Maintenance Project Lead to support the Combat Vehicles Program in Sterling Heights, MI.
Candidate will work with a team of internal and external stakeholders to determine Logistics Sustainment scope, plan and track sustainment efforts across CV platforms, as well as ensure platform maintenance plans/concepts are sound between field-level and sustainment-level maintenance. Candidate will advise programs, applying previous depot maintenance experience, lessons learned and knowledge of Log products (NMWRs and DMWRs), program actions, and events to improve the technical quality of the Sustainment Logistics products. The person in this position will be expected to attend and/or generate internal/external meetings to discuss and provide input/guidance/take action regarding sustainment maintenance. Candidate will be expected to track/report outcomes of meetings and discussions.

Full-Time Salary Range: $103509 - $175993

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- A 4-year degree in an engineering discipline + a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Experience with organic depot core capabilities - facilities, equipment, personnel to support system overhauls/repairs.
- Experience with authoring System/Component NMWR and DMWRs
- Familiarity with Mil-Std 40051-1/2, MIL-HDBK-1222, MIL-PRF-63002, MIL-STD-38784, MIL-STD-1388B, GEIA-STD-0007 and how they relate to Technical Manuals, specifically NMWRs and DMWRs.
- Understanding of Provisioning, Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Codes, and RPSTLs.
- Understanding of Maintenance Allocation Charts, maintenance functions, and how MACs are generated.
- Understanding of Army Two-Level Maintenance.
- Ability to research, read, and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience with working across multiple platforms and functional areas simultaneously.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with attending and/or leading internal Tech Manual validation events or Customer Logistics Verification events.
- Experience with Bradley Family of Vehicles (Bradley FoV)
- Experience with Artillery Programs
- Experience with Recovery programs
- Experience with USMC secondary repairables
- Understanding of SLIC Wave and the SLIC Wave database
- Use of Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Experience with tagging and publishing Extensible Markup Language (XML)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Powerpoint
- Experience with Microsoft Office Project
