About the role


Job Title: InsureMO Lead Developer (Consultant) - 3 months to start, 32-40 hrs/week (can be flexible)

As an InsureMO / eBAO Consultant at Auxo, your responsibilities encompass supporting developers in building a strong infrastructure and automating as much of the systems as possible. Your role involves close collaboration with diverse teams, including UX designers, application engineers, technical project managers, and development teams. The primary objective is to guarantee the delivery of top-tier applications that consistently exceed customer expectations.


What you'll do

  • Assist in overseeing all InsureMO client implementations including leading multiple workstreams from initial planning, requirements design, development, testing, implementation, and post engagement support.
  • Lead client workshops to present leading practices while understanding complex needs and translating them into functional and technical requirements.
  • Engage with decision makers to lay out project roadmaps and ensure the delivery aligns with the organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members and clients on InsureMO operations, upgrades, and development.
  • Lead on-shore and off-shore teams to complete agile-based deliverables as assigned by engagement leadership during project execution
  • Partner with resources from other service lines/industries across Alpha Divisions (Insurance, Alternatives, AWM, etc) as needed.
  • Collaborate on business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pre-sales activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience with software development/engineering, with at least 3 years of experience directly working with the InsureMO platform.
  • Completion of full implementations of InsureMO, including complex integrations and product configuration.
  • Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and ETL pipelines.
  • Strong scripting/programming experience (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Solid understanding of integration architecture, data mapping, error handling, and logging best practices.
  • Experience leading various size teams in the delivery of agile-based projects or portions of projects to meet defined requirements within Insurtech.
  • Experience with reinsurance, InsureMO XRI, and DataMO are a plus.


Other Info

  • Travel as needed - may be required to travel infrequently (to client sites).
  • Successful candidate may be hired as a W2 contractor or Independent Consultant (1099).
  • Successful candidate must pass a comprehensive background check to be hired, which includes employment, education, and location verifications.
  • Must be able to accommodate a working schedule of 8:30am - 5:30pm EST.
