This position is for BizChoice Transportation, which is a wholesale division of Paul Hanson Partners, a division of Specialty Program products, exclusive programs, and fully customizable services tailored to the needs of their clients.

Job Summary

We're now hiring a Transportation Insurance Producer to help grow in our Last Mile Delivery program. If you're excited to be part of a winning team, Paul Hanson Partners, is a perfect place to get ahead.

As a Producer, you will implement marketing strategies to develop a strong network of prospective clients and work to expand our portfolio of current transportation insureds. Your primary focus will be writing new business within our Last Mile Delivery network by way of soliciting leads via an active marketing campaign and contacting them via phone, email communication and face-to-face interactions when necessary. You will be responsible for the new business process from application to bind in order to build your book.

An ideal candidate will be licensed in both P&C and Health and Life to sell insurance in the state located in and also have industry and sales experience. You will have access to marketing data and our lead database which will provide you the resources needed to conduct outreach to the prospective clients. You need to have a strong sales mentality along with great customer service skills to assist in developing and growing a client base.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to conduct outreach to prospects via marketing campaign, cold calls, email and in-person appointments as needed

  • Use lead lists to establish contact and complete new business application

  • Work with outside brokers that contact us with interest about accessing our program

  • Work to retain current business at time of renewal

  • New business sales and distribution desk support

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed in the state (P&C and obtain H&L within 90 days of onboarding)

  • Meet state continuing education requirements

  • Ability to use all Microsoft office products

  • Demonstrate great customer service skills

  • Excellent presentation and sales skills

  • Industry knowledge preferred to determine prospective client needs

  • Preferred but not required, 1-5 years’ experience in the insurance and or transportation industry

Work Location:

This position provides both hybrid or remote work opportunities, but must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone.

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
