Achievable exam preparation (https://achievable.me) is looking for a curious, empathetic, and driven Instructional Support Specialist to help our students succeed. In this full-time role, you’ll act as a frontline guide for learners navigating high-stakes exam prep, ensuring they stay on track, understand the material, and pass with confidence.
You’ll be part coach, part tutor, and part content detective, working closely with our learners and internal team to improve the clarity and impact of our courses.
Schedule & Flexibility
To best support learners when they’re most active, this role requires working at least a half day on either Saturday or Sunday, plus four weekdays (or three if both weekend days are worked). Beyond that, your schedule is flexible, so long as you’re targeting around 40 hours per week and maintaining prompt, helpful support while online. We value outcomes, responsiveness, and collaboration more than rigid hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Learner Support: Serve as the go-to expert for student questions, helping them overcome roadblocks and build confidence.
- Continuous Learning: Deepen your knowledge across diverse fields, such as finance and medicine, to better support learners, becoming a micro-expert on topics you've just learned.
- Content Collaboration: Work with professional tutors and subject matter experts to review complex material and ensure our courses meet current exam standards.
- Content Clarification: Use learner feedback to flag confusing areas and clarify our course content.
- Platform Insight: Monitor how learners interact with our platform and propose improvements to boost engagement and outcomes.
- Course Maintenance: Help keep our materials aligned with evolving exam requirements through proactive research and student feedback.
