Job Description

As an experienced and innovative Instructional Designer at EBG, you will play a key role in enhancing the development of our employees’ skills and knowledge throughout the organization. 

The Instructional Designer will work collaboratively across multiple departments, partnering closely with Subject Matter Experts to design and regularly assess instructor-led training, eLearning modules, virtual training and simulation activities. 

The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical expertise, utilizing innovative training tools to effectively address training requirements.  

Essential Functions:

  • Design and sustain training programs that meet corporate objectives and address proficiency gaps.
  • Create training curriculum that may encompass instructor-led sessions, self-directed learning, e-learning modules, job aids, SOPs, and presentation slides.
  • Provide support and training to stakeholders, enabling them to facilitate programs within their own departments.
  • Ensure that all training materials remain consistent, current, and aligned with the goals of each department.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while thriving in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Utilize data to evaluate and enhance training programs. 
  • Stay informed about instructional design best practices, as well as emerging trends and technologies, to integrate into learning initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related discipline is required.  
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in instructional design and development, demonstrated by a strong portfolio that highlights a range of learning solutions, including for adult learners. 
  • Proficient in authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Captivate, as well as Talent LMS and multimedia & graphic design software.  
  • Demonstrated capability in designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide learning initiatives that encompass a variety of technical and professional skills.  
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with individuals at all organizational levels. 
  • A proactive team player who can manage tasks independently and oversee processes efficiently. 
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
  • This is a hybrid role and you must be able to work onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays
