Role Overview

  • As our Instructional Designer / LMS Content Specialist, you'll manage the end-to-end learning content lifecycle—from designing engaging digital learning experiences and multimedia content to administering learning platforms, supporting learners, and maintaining high-quality documentation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform complex product and technical information into engaging, accessible, and impactful learning solutions that enhance user adoption and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design & Content Development
  • Design and develop engaging online learning programs and digital learning resources.
  • Create course outlines, curriculum structures, assessments, storyboards, and instructional scripts.
  • Develop multimedia learning content, including videos, graphics, quizzes, screen recordings, and voice-overs.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom's Taxonomy.
  • Review and update learning content based on stakeholder and subject matter expert feedback.
LMS Administration
  • Build, publish, and maintain learning content within a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Configure courses and learning pathways.
  • Manage learner enrollments and course administration.
  • Monitor learner progress and generate completion reports.
  • Provide learner support and escalate technical issues when required.
  • Develop user guides and self-service learning resources.
Content Management
  • Maintain and update learning materials as products and processes evolve.
  • Manage version control and content governance.
  • Create and maintain knowledge-base articles and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure learning content meets quality, accessibility, and branding standards.
Collaboration
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional teams to develop learning solutions.
  • Support customer enablement initiatives, webinars, onboarding programs, and product releases.
  • Translate recurring support questions into reusable learning content and self-service resources.
Quality Assurance & Reporting
  • Conduct usability testing and gather learner feedback.
  • Proofread and edit learning materials for quality and consistency.
  • Track learner engagement, completion rates, assessment outcomes, and content performance.
  • Recommend continuous improvements based on learning analytics and feedback.

Requirements
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in instructional design, LMS content development, or a similar role.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining learning content within a Learning Management System.
  • Hands-on LMS administration experience, including:
    • Course configuration
    • Learner enrolment
    • Progress tracking
    • Completion reporting
  • Working knowledge of ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom's Taxonomy.
  • Experience using eLearning authoring tools and multimedia content development tools.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems such as OpenLearning, Moodle, Canvas, or similar platforms.
  • Experience using Articulate 360 / Storyline or equivalent eLearning authoring tools.
  • Experience with multimedia and content creation tools such as Canva, Genially, Powtoon, Vyond, ElevenLabs, WellSaid, Clipchamp, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience creating videos, graphics, animations, screen recordings, and voice narration.
  • Experience developing user guides, knowledge-base content, or technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting webinars, product enablement, customer onboarding, or feature releases.
  • Experience within education, vocational education, higher education, software, technology, or similar industries.
  • Qualification in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • We welcome candidates with experience using comparable LMS platforms, authoring tools, and multimedia applications. Equivalent experience is valued over expertise with a specific platform or product.
