The Inside Sales Specialist will proactively reach out to potential customers, respond to inquiries, build relationships, and close sales deals across all product categories within the existing distribution platform. Success requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute on Replacement Components strategies to achieve annual sales growth targets of 15%

  • Generate and qualify leads by completing outbound calls to prospective customers

  • Respond to inbound inquiries by providing information about products and/or services

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business by building and maintaining relationships with existing customers

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and achieve sales targets in collaboration with the sales team

  • Recommend products and/or services to effectively address identified customer needs

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations for potential customers

  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions

  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline within a CRM system

This role is based in the West region of the United States

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of sales and/or product marketing experience

  • 3+ years of customer service experience

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • HVAC or technical sales market and product knowledge 

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills 

  • Experience with contributing to cross-functional (i.e. marketing and customer support) teams, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives

  • Experience with preparing and delivering sales presentations and demonstrations for potential customers

  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities

  • Sense of urgency, self-motivated, commitment, and sense of ownership 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Salesforce CRM tools

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
