Position Overview: 

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for regional lead management, assigned account growth and regional inventory management goals and general sales and technical support to assist in taking great care of our customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage account list, strengthening relationships and growing business
  • Provide technical support to customers by phone and email
  • Enter quotes and manage lead assignments, ensuring follow-up and documentation.
  • Assist customers with product selection.
  • Document account activities in the CRM system.
  • Develop and manage opportunity pipelines.
  • Conduct virtual and phone sales calls to expand territory.
  • Qualify and develop leads, coordinating account setup.
  • Set and maintain pricing.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations for inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Advise on product cross-reference options.
  • Vet and nurture marketing leads, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Communicate with Customer Service and Buyers on inventory management.
  • Regularly communicate usage projections for exclusive and high-value inventory.

    Expected Skills and Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field working with customers.  
    • High School or higher-level degree. 
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    • Requires ability to learn internal database and software systems, i.e. SAP.
    • Superior oral and written skills are required to communicate at multiple levels within the organization, with customers and industry leaders.
    • Proactive communication and follow up is essential to manage suppliers and customers.
    • Self-structure and a high degree of organizational skills are required to manage multiple products and market segments in a broad geographical area. 
    • Ability to travel when assigned.

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in SAP
    • Familiarity with CRM concepts and solutions, particularly CRM/SAP Sales Cloud or Salesforce. 
    • Prior hands-on experience with composites, the composites industry, and/or the aerospace industry is preferred.

    • Familiarity with composite suppliers and products along with the use and applications of these products is preferred.

    Travel Requirements:

    • Travel within the assigned territory as needed, with occasional overnight stays.

    Pre-Employment Requirement: 

    • Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen and background check. This requirement is especially critical for safety-sensitive roles.

    The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. The actual pay will be determined based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
