  • This role is a hybrid position with the expectation to work onsite (3) three days a week in the Ericsson office located in Boise, Idaho and relocation is not offered for this position.

    We're looking for a sales representative to sell to US Federal agencies and customers via the telephone and internet, teamed up with an in-territory Regional Sales Manager. Specifically, this role will focus on US Military agencies including the US Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and the US Veterans Administration. The goal for the Inside Sales Representative (Federal) is to grow revenue and will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through booked sale along with partner growth and participating in marketing activities. What you will do
  • Achieve territory sales objectives through sales of products and services to new and existing customers
  • Understand and manage the US Federal procurement process
  • Identify sales opportunities through lead generation, follow-up, networking, and building relationships with potential customers, carriers, and partners
  • Adopt our sales methodology and adhere to our sales process
  • Make recommendations to prospective customers that align their business needs to our technology solutions and services
  • Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation, and close
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, and competitive offerings
  • Establish and maintain a clean and healthy pipeline
  • Provide accurate and dependable forecasts on a quarterly basis

The skills you bring
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three to five (3-5) years of sales experience, preferably in a tech field
  • Sales experience in US Federal or US Public Sector with a strong understanding of selling through contract vehicles
  • Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas
  • Experience in presenting a sales demonstration to clients
  • Consultative, solution-based sales methodology
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

Bonus Points:
  • Prior military of government employment
  • Experience with networks and/or cellular carriers

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Variable Compensation Plan:This role includes the opportunity for sales commissions as a part of the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Variable Compensation Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance against sales targets and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules may apply.
