Job Description

Coordinate and drive success for a team delivering service contracts to scientific labs.

Location:

This is an onsite position in our campus at Carlsbad, CA. No relocation assistance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Tele Sales Representatives (TSRs), ensuring accountability for results and adherence to company standards.
  • Daily mentoring to adherence of call flow and telesales processes with QA
  • Lead a pipeline of customers to meet an individual sales goal
  • Conduct daily one-on-one meetings with TSRs to provide mentorship, feedback, and personalized development plans, encouraging individual and team growth.
  • Uphold and carry out all company policies, procedures, and the code of conduct, setting the tone for integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Drive strategic business plans for the sales team that align with the company’s long-term growth and profitability goals.
  • Assess team proficiencies regularly, identify skill gaps, and communicate training or resource needs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a role model by demonstrating outstanding behavior in personal character, dedication, organizational skills, and advanced sales techniques.
  • Supervise lead list management and sales forecasting, ensuring accurate reporting and timely follow-up on opportunities.
  • Support TSRs in resolving critical customer concerns and negotiating complex contracts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Field Sales, and Service Teams, to align on strategies and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Regularly take calls from TSR’s to close the sale

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors graduation preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience of B2B/B2C sales, preferably within the science, medical, or similar industry.
  • Leadership: Ability to motivate and develop a team, drive performance, and deliver results.
  • Sales Savvy: Shown success in process adherence, negotiation, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication: Outstanding written, verbal, and social skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse audiences.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with CRM systems; experience with CPQ tools is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of scientific equipment and services is desirable, but a strong ability to learn quickly is important.
  • Sales Techniques: Skilled in cold calling, probing, and closing, with a proven ability to engage and establish links with customers.

Additional Preferred Skills:

Skilled in analyzing sales data to boost team performance, tracking metrics and using scorecards to monitor progress.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $92,000.00–$107,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
