Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Inside Sales Representative II and be part of our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll generate sales growth through virtual and digital channels while building strong relationships with customers across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical and industrial markets. You'll promote and sell our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services, using consultative selling skills to understand customer needs and provide optimal solutions. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage customer relationships through our CRM system, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets. Location: This is a remote position covering a central/mountain territory. Residency in the USA required within a central or mountain standard timezone. No relocation assistance provided.

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage customers and respond to product, quote, and technical inquiries
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow your territory
  • Build relationships with scientists, purchasing, and supply chain teams
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed targets
  • Maintain accurate customer data and pipeline activity in CRM systems

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably within a related industry.

  • Ability to learn technical products and apply consultative selling approaches

  • Solid understanding and proficiency in life sciences and/or the bioprocess industry to be able to serve as a resource for customers

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $25.00–$32.10.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
