Job Description:

The Inside Business Development Manager will be responsible for delivering consistent performance results in sales achievement, account development and executing strategic objectives of the Beauty Health Company within a defined geographical area. Additionally, they will be responsible for collaborating with Hydrafacial Business Development Managers, Regional Training Specialists (RTS) and Capital Sales Managers (CSM) for trainings as well as advanced and continual business planning and marketing support for all practice development activities. The Inside Business Development Manager will also be responsible for driving tier ups, second system, trade up sales, and increase treatment procedures within a practice to increase consumable/product sales within their assigned territory. The IBDM assigned to the region will be responsible for engaging with inactive and low volume accounts (Silver Circle tier) with the end goal of re-activating and graduating those accounts.  As the primary point of contact, will connect with customers via phone, email and virtual meetings to provide business development and marketing support. 

 
 

What you’ll do: 

Primary Responsibilities:   

  • Manage a territory of Hydrafacial customers, introducing them to new products, procedures, and protocols and providing business development and marketing support to assist with their success with the award winning Hydrafacial 

  • Help clients understand how to position the Hydrafacial treatment inside their practices and businesses, ensuring the consistent reordering of consumable products that produce great outcomes for customers. 

  • Help physician practices and spas improve their top and bottom lines with Hydrafacial. 

  • Drive additional device purchases (2nd systems/trade ups) within current customer base. 

  • Utilize trunk stock effectively to increase booster penetration and overall utilization 

  • Develop individualized business plans to drive growth through strategic positioning, menu planning and in office pull through initiatives. 

  • Review Loyalty for both the provider program and my beauty health app for customers. 

  • Provide continuous virtual training for new estheticians, refresher training and booster training. 

  • Full office support including teaching patient consultation, coaching, front desk training. 

  • Communicate value proposition of Hydrafacial to reinforce customers decision to use/purchase product.  

  • Attend annual Global Sales meetings, Mid-year/Regional meetings, and potentially support HFX if/when needed. 

  • Work professionally and respectfully with regional directors, business development managers, customer support, sales support, accounting, and tech teams to ensure best customer service practices.  

  • Educate clients on how to utilize the online ordering platform to optimize clients ordering experience.  

  • Utilize Salesforce for the REQUIRED daily documentation of meetings, calls, trainings, and emails. 

  • Other duties as assigned.  
     

What you need to know: 

Experience/Skills/Education: 

 

Required: 

  • High school diploma or GED required. 

  • Ability to provide specific examples of your success helping medical practices or med-spas build a business around your products.  

  • Manage creation of tools, processes and programs designed to drive patient volume at an owner-operated business level.  

  • Demonstrate high levels of Clinical, Sales and Business Acumen  

  • Exceptional communication, planning and organizational skills.  

  • Ability to forge strong relationships with clients to increase utilization 

  • Ability to strategically upsell, forecast and leverage resources to achieve goals.  

  • Willingness to attend events if/when needed.

 

Desired: 

• College degree in business administration or related field preferred. 

 • Aesthetic license is preferred.

(Base Hourly Pay: $30.00/hourly + commission) 

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BeautyHealth’s total rewards package for our employees.
