Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Infrastructure Project Manager to work for our company.

Summary: 

  • Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency.
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • Will oversee complex projects supporting and enhancing our Oracle EBS 12.x ERP solution infrastructure. 
  • Will manage stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a remote environment. 
  • Will serve as the lead Project Manager for large, complex projects or groups of projects impacting the Oracle EBS infrastructure, including system migrations, integrations (e.g., acquisition integration), and significant enhancements.
  • Collaborates closely with Government Contracting Officers, Contractor Project Leads, government management personnel, and customer agency representatives to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
  • Responsible for the overall management of assigned projects, ensuring technical solutions, schedules, and objectives are met in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Oversees and monitors key project performance areas relevant to infrastructure, such as risk management, availability management, capacity management, IT service continuity management, IT architecture management, and release and deployment management.
  • Provides industry best practices for project execution, potentially leveraging models like the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Applies a strong technical understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and public cloud platforms as they relate to supporting an enterprise ERP like Oracle EBS.
  • Leads cross-functional teams (including infrastructure engineering, operations, and other technical disciplines) through the project lifecycle.
  • Defines and refines project scope, objectives, and requirements, potentially including user stories, use cases, or acceptance criteria for infrastructure-related tasks.
  • Develops and maintains project documentation, including technical writing support for reports and deliverables to ensure clarity and quality for government stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifies and resolve project issues, manage risks, and adapt to changing project direction or ambiguity.
  • Ensures effective communication (written and verbal) and collaboration across all project stakeholders.

Requirements: 

  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • Must have a Project Management certification Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other recognized certification, (ITIL, CGFM)
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree OR 4 additional years of experience 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with Oracle financial applications.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector, specifically within IT and/or consulting fields.
  • Experience supporting Federal Oracle shared service providers on an Oracle EBS R12.2 platform or higher is required.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with essential expertise in Oracle EBS. Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, public cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI). Familiarity with Oracle AIM is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and conflicting priorities in a complex environment.

Preferences: 

  • One of the following certifications: IAT-II security certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, CISSA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
  • DFARS 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification.
  • One of the following certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations 2020 Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Administrator, Oracle Java SE 8 Programmer I, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Essentials (OEM 12c), Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) 12c R1: Fundamentals, Oracle Planning 202x Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and Oracle Identity Governance 12c: Essentials.
