Job Type: Contract 
Location: Remote - Europe, South America, Canada
Reports to: Manager, Infrastructure, Engineering and Architecture  

Role Overview:

Sterlington Professional Services Corporation is seeking two experienced Infrastructure Engineers to support modernization and enhancement projects across our cloud environment. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering improvements across our Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms, ensuring systems are secure, scalable and aligned with the businesses growth and direction. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver initiatives against Sterlington’s agreed roadmap of improvements across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 
  • Build, configure and optimize cloud-based infrastructure services. 
  • Implement automation, monitoring and management solutions to improve operational efficiency. 
  • Support migration and integration initiatives across the existing technology estate. 
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure, Engineering and Architecture team to design and deliver secure, scalable solutions. 
  • Ensure compliance with corporate security, governance and regulatory requirements. 
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders. 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Compute, Storage, Network, Identity), and Microsoft 365 (Intune, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online) 
  • Proven track record with Microsoft 365 administration and optimization. 
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform) 
  • Solid understanding of security and compliance best practices in cloud environments. 
  • Experience supporting modernization and transformation programs. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.  
  • Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop 

Desirable Skills:

  • Relevant Certifications (Eg. AZ-104) highly desirable 
  • Knowledge of Compliance Frameworks (ISO 270001, CIS) 

Experience Level:

  • Mid-level Engineer with 3-5 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure roles. 
  • Previous consulting or project-based delivery experience advantageous.
