As the Senior Leader of Information Technology (internally the Millennium title will be Chief Information Officer), this role will develop the vision and strategy that aligns the company's existing systems and ensures its scalability and adaptability to future needs. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, leaders and business stakeholders, this role will drive digital transformation to meet current and future business objectives and enable the seamless integration of future systems. This position will manage IT, Cybersecurity and Enterprise Applications in a USG manufacturing organization.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Security: Oversee the implementation and of all applicable security regulations and directives (e.g., NIST, ISO, CMMC, DFARS, ITAR) to protect sensitive government data and ensure compliance. Manage security audits and certifications
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and end-user devices. Ensure system stability, security, and performance
  • Oversee the Cyber Security organization
  • Direct and manage the IT Enterprise Applications organization
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing value
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and ensure IT solutions meet their requirements. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Innovation and Technology Adoption: Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new technologies that can enhance business operations and support the company's competitive advantage

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 15+ years of experience planning and leading enterprise-wide programs, service delivery, and enterprise IT infrastructure initiatives
  • Demonstrated success in a senior leadership role overseeing enterprise infrastructure development and implementation
  • Experience in managing a budget
  • Deep understanding of government regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, CMMC, DFARS, ITAR)
  • Proven success leading and developing high-performing IT teams in a complex, regulated environment
  • Extensive experience with cybersecurity best practices and technologies
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud computing
  • Expertise in Enterprise applications (e.g. MRP/ERP/MES/PLM) systems, associated integrations and data analytics
  • Excellent project management skills and experience, and the ability to drive change
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving digital transformation initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience working with government agencies
  • Experience successfully leading & executing hands-on implementation of an enterprise-wide system
  • Experience working in both open and regulated/secure environment and how to architect systems to operate across those boundaries
  • Experience with any of the following: Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Cobra, Teamcenter, Manufacturo, Mulesoft, PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, Atlassian ( JIRA,Confluence), Microsoft .NET and C# with SQL Database, Alteryx

Summary pay range: $204,850 - $301,250
Millennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
