Job Summary

The Informatics Clinician will leverage their experience in managing complex strategic initiatives and process knowledge and skills to drive performance and safety improvements for the E-Prescribing ecosystem and the Surescripts network. This client facing role ensures completion of key deliverables and maintains an ongoing relationship with organizations such as EHRs, pharmacies, drug compendia, and life sciences companies on behalf of Surescripts. The individual will be responsible for identifying, creating, and communicating insights about clinical optimizations for our network alliance with a goal of driving safer communication of the prescriber’s intent to the pharmacy, improving workflow efficiency, and improving adoption of Surescripts products. The incumbent will demonstrate excellent communication skills to successfully facilitate meetings with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and support strategic plans to execute project goals aimed at improving data quality for the E-Prescribing ecosystem and the Surescripts network.
  • Serve as a clinical subject matter expert in analyzing the results and explaining the value and impact to internal and external customers.
  • Develop customer relationships with key stakeholders as part of the quality programs
  • Manage and execute on projects and analyses for internal and external clients and stakeholders, including developing dashboards and presentations.
  • Manage and facilitate customer meetings virtually and in person.
  • Author white papers and manuscripts to demonstrate thought leadership.
  • Partner with account teams to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of customer questions and issues.
  • Identify high-level requirements for Business Intelligence (BI) tools based on customer feedback.
  • Perform complex clinical data analysis in tools such as Excel, Access, and/or other analytics tools
QualificationsBasic Requirements:
  • PharmD, RPH, RN, NP, PA, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in related, progressive roles
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex strategic initiatives such as client implementations, new product implementation, product launches, or other key business programs
  • 3+ years of experience identifying high-level requirements for Business Intelligence tools
  • 2+ years of experience of creating and delivering clinical data analyses
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Analysis tools, such as Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of clinical data analysis experience using terminologies such as RxNorm, SNOMED, and/or drug compendium such as First Databank, Medispan, or Multum.
  • Customer centric, excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye to customer needs and viewpoints.
  • Ability to break down complex internal and external stakeholder input and product detail into clear talking points.

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $147,100 - $179,700 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
