As a Industry Value Engineer, you will serve as a strategic advisor, helping organizations identify and quantify business value by aligning data management use cases with their specific challenges and opportunities while building comprehensive roadmaps. This senior role blends business and data expertise, consultative problem-solving, and storytelling to engage executives and industry leaders.

A core responsibility is to develop a composable value framework that connects business goals, core processes, and business metrics with use cases and recommended practices, enabling organizations to measure and articulate the concrete value and financial impact of master data management initiatives and its effect on other data initiatives such as AI. This position requires strong C-level engagement, analytical rigor, and a structured approach to business value realization.

Key responsibilities 

Business Transformation & Data Expertise
  • Collaborate with C-suite and senior executives to align master data management capabilities and use cases with strategic business priorities.
  • Guide organizations in leveraging MDM to drive growth, operational efficiency, compliance, and AI-readiness.
  • Collaborate with Industry experts to incorporate specific Industry challenges and priorities
  • Design and present tailored business transformation roadmaps leveraging Stibo Systems data capabilities and use cases
Business Value Assesment
  • Design and refine a structured and comprehensive value framework emcopassing personas, core business processes, master data management use cases and KPIs
  • Lead business value assessments to analyze customer pain points, quantify business use cases impact, and build data-driven business cases.
  • Develop industry-specific benchmarks.
  • Develop Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) analysis to justify MDM investments.
Consultative & Analytical Skills
  • Lead value discovery engagements with executives, helping them assess opportunities and business impact.
  • Develop ROI models, business case frameworks, and strategic roadmaps to support decision-making.
  • Use quantitative analysis and benchmarking to demonstrate the tangible benefits of MDM.
  • Develop a benchmarkt model: data collection, metrics & assumptions, scenarios evaluation
Storytelling & Value Articulation
  • Develop  compelling business narratives tailored for senior stakeholders.
  • Build interactive reports, executive presentations, and visual dashboards to support data-driven storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure relevant insights are used appropiately in blogs, customers success stories, campaigns, etc. 
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
  • Engage C-level executives, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to align master data management opportunities with strategic business goals.
  • Partner with sales, product, marketing, and customer success teams to drive adoption and customer value realization.

Qualification & experience

  • 10+ years in value engineering, business consulting, or data strategy
  • Experience with value engineering methodologies.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence C-level executives with strategic insights
  • Experience with financial modeling, business case development, and value engineering frameworks.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience in executive storytelling and value-based selling.
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong expertise in one or more industries, such as Retail, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Financial Services or Life Sciences.
