Role Overview
The Category Manager supports and executes indirect procurement strategies with a primary focus on G&A spend, including Real Estate, Finance, HR, Legal, and other corporate services. The role will also support Marketing and Sales procurement initiatives as assigned, partnering with business stakeholders to deliver cost efficiency, supplier effectiveness, risk mitigation, and operational improvement.

- Lead sourcing activities including RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract support.
- Partner with Real Estate, Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders to align sourcing work with business needs.
- Manage supplier relationships, track performance, support business reviews, and escalate risks or issues.
- Conduct spend analysis, benchmarking, savings tracking, and sourcing reporting.
- Evaluate scopes of work, pricing models, rate cards, SLAs, and supplier proposals.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, process improvement, and demand management.
- Provide guidance to procurement buyers or analysts and support junior team development.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, sourcing processes, and contract standards.

Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, or supplier management.
- Demonstrated experience in indirect procurement, with experience across G&A categories such as Real Estate, Finance, HR, Legal, Professional Services, or other corporate services. Experience supporting Marketing and/or Sales procurement is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to execute sourcing events and support negotiations.
- Strong analytical, commercial, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing suppliers and tracking performance against KPIs or SLAs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience guiding or mentoring junior team members preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- SAP Ariba, Excel, Power BI, or similar tool experience preferred.
