Inclusion and Enablement Specialist

As an Inclusion & Enablement Specialist, you will play a key role in creating a more connected, respectful, and equitable teammate experience. You will lead the execution of impactful programs that reflect our deep commitment to inclusion, ensuring every teammate feels seen, valued, and empowered.

Working across teams, you’ll support initiatives that foster belonging, learning, and fair access to opportunity. You’ll bring a strong sense of ownership, collaborate cross-functionally, and apply your expertise to embed inclusive practices into the everyday experiences of our teams and leaders.

Compensation: Up to 80k annual salary, 10% Annual Bonus

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver inclusive learning experiences—such as workshops, onboarding content, and team sessions—that promote psychological safety, identity awareness, and collaborative decision-making.

  • Coordinate and manage key programs including inclusive hiring training, leadership enablement, and cultural observance planning. You’ll ensure smooth execution by managing timelines, aligning stakeholders, and communicating clearly.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including People, Recruiting, and department leads—to integrate inclusive practices into core systems like hiring, performance management, development, and feedback.

  • Create and maintain program materials such as facilitator guides, slide decks, playbooks, and toolkits that are practical, globally inclusive, and accessible to teammates at all levels.

  • Support teammate-led initiatives and engagement moments, including resource group programs and cultural observances, by offering coordination, planning guidance, and operational support.

  • Collect and synthesize feedback and data to evaluate program impact, using insights to inform continuous improvement and guide learning-oriented iterations.

  • Build trusted relationships across the organization, actively listening to team needs and offering thoughtful, values-aligned recommendations that reflect our global perspective.

Why This Role Matters
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to shape how inclusion comes to life across the teammate experience. While priorities are guided by senior leadership, you’ll have the autonomy to drive execution, identify improvement areas, and contribute to a culture of learning, equity, and shared accountability.

Skills & Experience

To thrive in this role, you bring a mix of experience, curiosity, and collaboration. You’re passionate about inclusion and know how to turn that passion into meaningful action. Specifically, we’re looking for:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in Inclusion & Diversity, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, HR, or a related field, ideally within a global organization.

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to lead engaging, inclusive sessions for diverse audiences—both in person and virtually.

  • Program management experience, including planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement across multiple time zones and functions.

  • Applied knowledge of inclusive practices, especially in areas like inclusive hiring, psychological safety, identity awareness, and equitable team dynamics.

  • Ability to design learning materials and tools—including slide decks, toolkits, and playbooks—that are practical, visually clear, and accessible to all learners.

  • Comfort with data and feedback, including how to collect, analyze, and apply insights to improve programs and measure impact.

  • Collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence without authority and partner across levels and geographies.

  • A global and inclusive mindset, with cultural fluency and sensitivity to local contexts, norms, and teammate needs.

  • Proactive, self-directed approach to managing work and identifying opportunities for improvement, while staying aligned with shared priorities and values.

Job Benefits

At Gainsight, we don't believe in doing things as a "means to an end." Life's too short to have anything short of a joyful work environment that we passionately believe in. We think that "work vs. life" is a false choice created by pundits, cynics and consultants. We also believe that any community (like a company) needs a ton of diversity and a very small number of things that bring us together.

Here are our 5 core values

Golden Rule: We try to practice the Golden Rule ("Do unto others..." and that sort of thing) by exercising reliability, trust and giving back to each other and our community.

Success for All: We believe that success for our stakeholders—whether our teammates, clients or shareholders—comes with a sincere focus on continuous learning, selfless teaching and making a difference in each other’s lives.

Child-like Joy: We aspire to experience child-like joy in our work and lives, injecting a spirit of passion, optimism and laughter into everything that we do.

Shoshin:  We believe in a beginner’s mind.  Don’t surround yourself with people like you--diversity breeds creativity.

Stay Thirsty, My Friends: We believe in a totally internally-driven strive for greatness.  The solution is think more, not doing more.

Why You’ll Love It Here

Our Attitude: We’ve created a new industry from scratch, and we’re on the fast track!

Our Leadership: We offer the leading tech solution for driving Customer Success.

Our ROI: Reduce customer churn, increase up-sell, and improve customer satisfaction.

Our Technology: Deep Salesforce.com hooks, predictive analytics, and a beautiful user interface.

Our Impact: We help our customers make millions of dollars more per year.

Our Clients: Big companies like Box, Adobe, Marketo, and many others.

Our Team: Tech all-stars from Facebook, Box, and others (and top consulting firms like BCG and McKinsey!).

Our Values: They are unique - Golden Rule, Success for All, Childlike Joy, Shoshin, and Stay Thirsty, My Friends

Our Office: If you showed up one day, you might find anything from karaoke performances to mini-golf championships.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, 401k available on the first day of the month after start date, and flexible PTO.

Gainsight is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
