Help marketers adapt to the future of search.

Cognizo is on a mission to help brands win in the age of AI. As search engines evolve into answer engines, we’re pioneering a new category: AI search optimization. Our platform helps marketers understand and improve how visible their brand is when customers ask questions like “What's the best [product] for [use case]?” to AI tools like ChatGPT.

We’re growing fast, with a strong inbound pipeline and promising traction with top-tier companies. We’re hiring our first SDR to turn that interest into revenue. You’ll work closely with the founding team, talk to senior marketing leaders every day and help shape how our go-to-market engine works.

If you’re hungry, high-energy and excited to be on the frontlines of a massive shift in how brands grow, we want to meet you.

Key responsibilities
  • Own top of the funnel lead to SQL journey
  • Respond to and nurture leads coming through multiple inbound channels
  • Understand the full customer journey
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospect needs, use case fit, and buying timeline
  • Book and hand off qualified demos or introductory calls to Account Executives, ensuring the AE has full context on the prospect before the meeting takes place.
  • Follow up persistently with leads who have shown intent but haven't yet converted, using a mix of email, phone, and LinkedIn across a structured multi-touch sequence.
  • Persistently follow up with high-intent leads using a structured multi-touch sequence (email, phone, LinkedIn) until conversion.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge to speak credibly about the platform during early-stage conversations and handle common objections
You might be a fit if...
  • You're hungry and willing to be the first person in role to help build out processes.
  • You're looking to work at a fast-paced, hyper-growth start-up.
  • You're a self-starter with high-energy and resourcefulness. You take initiative and figure things out without being told.
  • You're extremely social and communicate with clarity and confidence.
  • You’re comfortable being scrappy. You’re here to build, not just follow a playbook.
Why you’ll love it here
  • Career growth opportunities as the company continues to expand very qucikly
  • Fast-paced, no-nonsense culture—we move fast, execute hard and skip the fluff.
  • Founding team—you’ll be working closely with the founders and help define the sales culture, GTM strategy and customer experience.
  • Explosive market—we’re early in a space that’s growing faster than most can keep up with.
  • Remote-first and flexible—work where you're most effective.
  • Mission-driven team—we’re building something new and important and we care deeply about doing it right.

Ready to join a fast-growing startup that’s rewriting the rules of organic visibility?

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
