Due to our continued success, we are expanding and looking for a talented Inbound Procurement Coordinator to join our team.


The Role

You are a project manager, responsible for ordering, planning, scheduling, and coordinating the flow of products through the complete production cycle. This candidate must have strong communication skills, timeline management skills, and maintain a clear line of communication internally and externally. Must love timelines & planning and thrive in a fast-paced environment!


Responsibilities

  • Procurement:
    • Process purchase orders to domestic and international vendors.
    • Partner with the demand planning team to understand and establish inventory parameters and replenishment plans to ensure proper allocation of inventory and alignment with strategic targets.
    • Track and provide visibility to purchase orders through the complete production cycle.
    • Create and manage vendor timelines, troubleshooting and resolving delays/issues as they arise.
    • Utilize ERP system to sync weekly production updates.
    • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations on components at vendor locations.
    • Partner with Logistics to ensure timely shipments pickups and deliveries.
    • Create reports and other tools to provide visibility across the supply chain.
    • Communicate and escalate risks to cross-functional teams.
    • Prepare clear and direct reports to Senior Management when appropriate.

  • Weekly reconciliation of inventory within the system and investigation of miss-alignment.
  • Single point of contact of annual physical count.
  • Manage obsolescence review process: maintain our inventory free of any obsolescence risk and manage periodical process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Must have 1-5 years related experience
  • Advanced Excel strongly recommended (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Must have project and timeline management experience
  • Must have strong written/verbal and communication and analytical skills
  • Must have an eye for detail, superb organizational skills and eagerness to learn
  • Must demonstrate excellent business and personal ethics
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Must have poise & confidence working with suppliers
  • Must thrive within a changing organization
  • Must hold self and others accountable
  • Must resolve conflicts quickly and directly
  • Must be a team player, listen and have a positive attitude
