The SpecterOps Business Development Representative will be the first point of contact for all inbound leads, partner leads and event leads playing a crucial role in driving growth. Your primary responsibility will be working closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Account Managers and Growth Marketing (from MQL to SQL), and to qualify inbound leads to schedule demos or technical scoping. We are seeking a professional who is highly motivated, an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, familiar with cybersecurity and selling SaaS-based solutions. 

Salary Range: base salary annually, commensurate with experience + commission  

  • On Target Earnings: $150,000 – $190,000  

Location: This position is remote, based in the U.S. with optional travel quarterly for in person company events and other ad hoc meetings.   

  • Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we do not currently sponsor immigration visas.   

 Responsibilities

  • Engage with inbound (direct and partner) leads to understand their needs and assess if they are a good for BloodHound Enterprise Standard and Basic.
  • All SpecterOps inbound lead qualification, demo scheduling, timely and professional follow through for prospective customers. 
  • Work with revenue marketing to develop and execute event lead campaigns.  
  • Develop and maintain a sales level understanding of SpecterOps product (BloodHound Enterprise), services, training, and market trends.  
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records in Salesforce by tracking all interaction and progress through the sales funnel.  
  • Work closely with Account Executives, Account Managers and Sales Engineers team to transition qualified leads to demos, providing details of lead requirements.  
  • Work with Regional Directors and Account Executives on outbound account targets and scheduling demos. 
  • Provide metrics and status updates of all leads, demos and new pipeline added weekly to the sales team.  
  • Collaborate with our growing channel community to start qualifying those leads and the co-sell efforts. 
  • Responsible for scored and event lead reach out and demo scheduling. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • 1-3 years of SDR, Inside Sales, or Business Development role with assigned quota. Experience selling SaaS services and/or cybersecurity experience preferred. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.  
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Navigator, Zoom Info or other similar tools. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Salesforce.com experience is a plus. 
  • Must be independent, self-motivated, and success-driven, yet willing to work within a team environment. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Grit – positive, can-do attitude, and personal resilience to manage through change in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to successfully complete a criminal background investigation.
