Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Implementation Specialist will support the new business and renewal process for the clients of Digital Insurance. They will support the flow of group business, from receipt of the sold case proposal through finalization by the carrier(s).  The primary market segmentation is small group along with individual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Gather applications from carrier(s) and send to clients, instruct employers how to complete required paperwork, scrub forms then send to carrier(s) for implementation exercising professional communication skills;

  • Communicate final approval from the carrier to the client by providing the carrier welcome letter, final rates, plan design;

  • Database management and proper documentation including but not limited to: entering Account Level information into Microsoft CRM, saving documents in appropriate account folders;

  • Provide specific notation and descriptions of calls in CRM and track all email correspondence;

  • Balance and prioritizing daily tasks, such as managing appointments, phone calls, and e-mail correspondence using appropriate tone, craft and delivery;

  • Build and maintain rapport with carrier contacts by insuring clean case submissions and replying to requests both accurately and expediently;

  • Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines;

  • Additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

  • Ability to relate to people of all levels and personalities;

  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred;

  • Experience at carrier, general agency or brokerage in a benefits support role, preferred;

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook, required;

  • Knowledge of health and ancillary insurance products and benefit plan designs, preferred;

  • Familiarity with database applications, a plus.

  • Current life and health insurance license.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $20 to $23 per hour

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
