As part of this vision, we seek an Immersive Technology Leader to champion the integration of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and advanced visualization technologies into our workflows. The Immersive Technology Leader will define and execute strategies that bring immersive technologies into design processes, client engagement, and project delivery. This role requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for innovation.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and implement an immersive technology roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in design visualization and experiential storytelling.
- Evaluate and deploy VR/AR/MR platforms and 3D visualization tools.
- Ensure seamless integration with design software (Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper) and collaboration platforms.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends.
- Drive research and development into emerging technologies, and pilot new workflows and establish proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate value.
- Build internal capability through training programs and workshops.
- Act as a mentor and subject matter expert for immersive tools for the firm.
- Partner with design teams, practice leaders, and marketing to deliver immersive experiences for clients, for example, pursuit proposals and interviews, and project presentations.
- Support integrating visualization into computational design and digital storytelling initiatives.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design Technology, Interactive Media Design, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in immersive technology or visualization within AEC or similar industries.
- Expertise in VR/AR/MR platforms and 3D modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of the AEC industry.
- Expertise in Reality capture
- Business acumen and ability to execute strategy.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; proven ability to drive innovation.
- Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
The salary range for this position is $112,800 to $141,000 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances.
