JOB SUMMARY:

As an IAM Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant access control within our organization. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong project management skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and manage identity governance systems, perform audits, and lead projects to enhance our IAM environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 6+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or related IT security roles. 
  • Strong knowledge of IAM solutions, including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA). 
  • Proficient in IAM tools using Microsoft Azure AD or similar systems. 
  • In-depth understanding of security principles, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA). 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects, coordinate resources, and manage timelines effectively. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • IAM certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are a plus. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement, configure, and maintain IAM solutions such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). 
  • Manage user identity lifecycle, from provisioning to de-provisioning, ensuring timely and accurate updates. 
  • Conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and implement IAM processes, policies, and procedures. 
  • Lead IAM-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and in line with security objectives. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues. 
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on IAM tools and best practices. 
  • Build advanced documentation for company security policies as relates to IAM. 
  • Stay current on IAM trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our security posture. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position requires the ability to remain stationary while working on a computer all day, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation range is $85-95k/yr based on qualifications and experience. Full-time employees at Sky Zone enjoy a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401k plan with company matching.  Eligibility for 401k is based on age and tenure requirements.
