Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented UI and UX design visionary to lead our client’s global dot-com UI design strategy. This role ensures a world class, cohesive visual experience across all digital touchpoints. It drives design excellence, accessibility, and innovation at scale. It also requires close partnership with UX, engineering, and product leadership. The right person understands standards, consistency, and scalability across complex digital ecosystems. The role includes oversight of design systems and component libraries for rapid, high quality delivery while collaborating with UX, content, and development teams to integrate UI patterns seamlessly. It also champions accessibility and inclusive design practices and mentors senior designers to support a culture of creativity and craft excellence.

  • Define and evolve the client’s dot-com UI design vision and standards for consistency and scalability
    • Oversee design systems and component libraries to enable rapid, high quality delivery
    • Collaborate with UX, content, and development teams to ensure seamless integration of UI patterns
    • Champion accessibility and inclusive design practices across all interfaces
    • Mentor and guide senior designers to strengthen craft, quality, and design culture

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You must bring a strong technical background, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to think strategically and holistically. If you have a passion for technology, user experience, and driving innovative solutions, this is a strong opportunity.

8+ years leading UI and UX design for enterprise scale digital platforms

  • Proven experience as a UI and UX designer with a portfolio showcasing high quality design work
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, primarily Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and human centered design
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards WCAG and best practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills
  • Experience working with design systems and the learning agility to quickly gain mastery over enterprise level systems similar to Carbon, as well as strict brand guidelines and UI best practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of design pattern trends and best practices
  • Innovative and collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to fast paced, evolving environments
  • Proven experience leading large design teams and complex design systems
  • Expertise in responsive design, accessibility standards, and modern front end frameworks

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience working with design systems similar to Carbon
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager AEM and Adobe Target

Education
Bachelor’s degree in User Interface Design, Digital Design, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related field preferred
