Job Title: Human Resources Operations Manager

Reports To: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
 
Position Summary:
 
Magna Legal Services is seeking a Human Resources Operations Manager to join our team! The HR Operations Manager will play a critical role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of HR services and processes. Reporting to the CHRO, this position oversees HR analytics and metrics, manages and maintains HRIS systems (with a strong emphasis on Paycom), implements and supports HR technologies, ensures accurate reporting and analysis, and manages EDI feed reconciliation. The HR Operations Manager will work closely with the entire HR team to ensure alignment and collaboration across all HR functions.

HRIS System Management and Maintenance:

  • Own and manage the Company’s HR Information System (Paycom) to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary Paycom subject matter expert, including configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.
  • Coordinate with Paycom and internal stakeholders to resolve HRIS-related issues and enhancements.
  • Ensure HRIS systems are updated with the latest software releases and functionality.

HR Analytics and Metrics:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive HR metrics and analytics using Paycom reporting and data tools to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics, including turnover, engagement, compensation, and recruiting data.
  • Analyze trends and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Technology Implementation:

  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of HR technologies, with Paycom as the core system of record.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners to ensure successful technology rollouts and integrations.
  • Train HR staff and end users on Paycom functionality and best practices.
  • Respond to inquiries related to HR systems and technology.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Design and maintain reporting frameworks that provide timely, accurate, and meaningful data to stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth HR data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives.

EDI Feed Reconciliation:

  • Manage and reconcile EDI feeds between Paycom and benefit, payroll, and third-party vendors to ensure data integrity.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and improve processes to streamline EDI management and reconciliation.

Collaboration with the HR Team:

  • Work closely with the HR team to ensure HR operations align with broader HR and business strategies.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects with data, analysis, and technical expertise.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the HR function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations and HRIS management, with hands-on Paycom experience required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR analytics, reporting, and metrics.
  • Strong working knowledge of Paycom modules, reporting, workflows, and integrations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven project management ability, including managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
