Summary: 

The Human Resources M&A Integrations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and employee-centric transition following mergers and acquisitions. This role is responsible for leading the execution of post-close HR integration strategies, with a focus on aligning acquired organizations to enterprise standards, enhancing the employee experience, and fostering cultural cohesion. The position will collaborate closely with business operations and integration project management teams to ensure seamless change management and successful cultural integration across all acquisitions. 

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end HR integration lifecycle, including onboarding, systems and process alignment, change management, and stakeholder engagement. This role collaborates cross-functionally with all of People & Culture and the various M&A Integration teams to deliver a consistent and scalable integration experience. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

  • Partner with the Human Resources M&A Diligence Manager to create and understand the integration plan per deal.  

  • Collaborate with the Integration Project Manager (IPM) to ensure seamless people and operational integration, focusing on change management and people experience.  

  • Lead the execution of HR integration plans post-close, ensuring alignment with OneDigital’s culture, policies, and systems.  

  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and HR Technology teams to ensure accurate setup and data migration.  

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for acquired entities during the integration phase.  

  • Manage onboarding and orientation processes for acquired employees, ensuring a seamless transition and onboarding experience.  

  • Coordinate with internal HR teams to align benefits, compensation, talent and HRIS systems.  

  • Facilitate cultural integration through communication plans, engagement initiatives, and leadership alignment.  

  • Monitor and resolve integration-related issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.  

  • Support change management efforts, including training, communications, and feedback loops.  

  • Act as a liaison to acquired teams to ensure long-term HR support is successful for both the acquired employees/sellers and corporate People & Culture teams.  

  • Continuously improve integration processes based on feedback and lessons learned. Assist with creating final integration plan that other HR M&A and People & Culture employees can execute on, post close of merger and/or acquisition.  

  • Works proactively and collaboratively to resolve issues with a “servant leadership” mind-set.  

  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor at all times.   

 

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements: 

  • Excellent communications skills, engaging personality with the ability to relate to people at all professional levels and personalities 

  • Excellent presenter: able to create recommendations for sellers on best HR practices in alignment with OneDigital’s vision  

  • “Can do” attitude  

  • Ability to garner and foster trust and credibility  

  • Must be able to work autonomously and in a team environment  

  • Desire to consistently learn and challenge the status quo  

  • Strong organizational skills  

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to travel within the US (10% at times)   

Education, Training and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree, required; human resources, psychology or related field, preferred 

  • 5+ years’ of prior project management or integration experience, required 

  • 5+ years’ HR generalist or operations experience, required 

  • PMP certification, preferred 

  • Experience with Workday HRIS, preferred 

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $70,000 to $80,000 per year 

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
