As an intern at Ware Malcomb, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals. You will develop practical skills in a collaborative environment supported by structured training and dedicated mentorship. The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day administrative functions of the Human Resources Department under the direction of the Human Resources Generalist.
This is a paid internship for Summer 2026.
Your Role
- Provides excellent customer service to the Human Resources and Payroll team
- Partners with Human Resources Generalist on administrative functions, such as data entry in various Human Resources-related databases
- Assists with creating and maintaining team members’ electronic personnel files
- Responds to inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters
- Assists in onboarding activities for new team members
- Assists with data entry and data scrubs
- Supports company culture and company events
- Performs ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented are essential traits required of the individual.
- Ability to positively interface with all levels of team members is essential.
- Ability to prioritize multiple and competing tasks is essential.
- Evokes a teamwork mentality and is dependable.
- Demonstrates confidentiality in all aspects of the Human Resources Department is essential.
