Job Description:

The Human Resources Director partners with the Nobel Biocare Commercial, Operations & Corporate functions within North America to support Nobel’s continuing growth. The successful candidate will enjoy all aspects of HR including both strategic and tactical. This includes partnering with the senior leadership team on strategic talent initiatives, talent management, talent attraction and development, performance management, strategic projects, process improvement and employee relations; all in alignment with the driving Envista Core Values and accelerating company growth. This position reports directly to the Global Vice President of Human Resources for Nobel Biocare.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the business strategy by collaborating with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and develop organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.

  • Develops and leads people engagement efforts, is a steward of our culture and contributes to work that furthers the Nobel business strategy.

  • Leads and facilitates organization effectiveness activities and information sessions for employees at all levels of the organization on a variety of topics - from programs to leadership and team development initiatives.

  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition team on external and internal recruiting for various roles, primarily commercial and leadership, ensuring a robust talent pipeline for ongoing commercial success.

  • Advises and coaches management in appropriate resolution of employee relations and performance issues.

  • Drives talent development efforts for targeted employee populations.

  • Facilitates processes for assigned organizations (i.e., annual performance management and merit processes, promotions, talent reviews) ensuring alignment to both corporate and Nobel strategy and philosophy.

  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.

  • Directs, coordinates, and reviews the HR components of the strategic plan for Nobel North America Functions.

  • Lead HR team to identify and resolve problems; assign work activities, projects and programs; monitor work flow; review and evaluate work method, procedures and results across all North America Nobel functions and Nobel sites.

  • Selects, trains, coaches, motivates and evaluates their HR team of direct reports.

  • Leads projects, both inside and outside of the HR function.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education/Experience/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in HR, Business Management, or a related field (MBA or MA preferred).

  • 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources roles with increasing responsibility.

  • 3 years Commercial HR experience.

  • Proven, strong collaboration and influencing skills.

  • Working knowledge of recruiting, data and analytics, sales compensation, and training and development.

  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong effective communication skills oral/written, with experience presenting to senior leadership teams.

  • Ability to set and follow process, but also comfortable deviating from process when it makes sense due to business or market demands.

  • Strong employment law knowledge.

  • Ability to drive projects to completion.

  • Continuous improvement and growth mindset, preferably experienced in one or more continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Workday knowledge preferred.

  • Prior work experience in a highly-regulated industry.

  • Experience with organization effectiveness and competency models, assessments, 360-degree feedback, etc.

  • Extensive Labor Relations and investigations experience.

  • PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.

Travel:

Approximately 15% travel, with occasional international travel required.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$131,100 - $243,400
