The Challenge to Solve

Local independents deserve the same speed, convenience, and operational support that large franchises enjoy but without the price tag or the hassle. Slice’s Hub network is core to making this possible. From branded packaging to registers to marketing materials, our hubs are the engines that power local shop success. We're looking for a Slice Hub Leader to ensure every shop gets what they need on time, every time with efficiency, care, and consistency.

The Role

As a Slice Hub Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and operating a Slice Hub to support shop success and meet critical performance goals.The role is responsible for all aspects of local operations, including fulfillment, printing, inventory, delivery, and provisioning, and works in close partnership with Sales and Implementation to support onboarding and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and operate the Slice Hub to meet regional performance goals, with the ultimate metric of shop retention.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery or pickup of Goods, Marketing Materials, and Hardware to shops.
  • Oversee the Hub’s in-house printing operations and hardware provisioning, as well as other local operations.
  • Track and improve shop onboarding and retention and market share, in partnership with Sales and Implementation.
  • Manage the Hub Budget and execute against key operational KPIs, including:
    • Managing profit and loss performance, with a focus on shop retention, order volume per shop, warehousing efficiency, production costs, and delivery spend.
    • Meeting on-time delivery service level agreements for hardware, Goods, and marketing materials.
    • Maintaining inventory accuracy and avoiding stockouts with proactive tracking and controls.
    • Ensuring fast fulfillment and delivery of branded packaging orders.
    • Managing fleet capacity, optimizing utilization, and maintaining assets to support reliable local delivery.
  • Build and execute standard operating procedures and systems, in partnership with central teams
  • Manage inventory and distribution, including local storage and fulfillment of goods such as branded packaging, hardware like register kits and printers, and marketing materials.
  • Oversee in-house printing operations, supporting on-demand branded packaging production in select hubs.
  • Manage hardware storage and provisioning, including setup, secure storage, distribution to shops, and returns.
  • Lead fleet and delivery management, including local driver coordination and fleet operations to ensure fast and reliable delivery.
  • Ensure effective execution of systems and operations, including all standard operating procedures and tools provided by central teams
  • Maintain the demo and showroom, including workbenches, the community area, and the Slice team workspace.

  • 5+ years of experience in business, operations, or supply chain
  • Proven ability to manage Slice hub operations, including production and fulfillment
  • Ability to oversee fleet and driver operations
  • Strong operational and systems execution skills
  • Comfortable owning budgets and performance metrics
  • Cross-functional collaborator, especially with Sales and Implementation
  • Background in operations or logistics; MBA preferred

Salary Range: $120-140k + benefits.
