Tradesy is seeking an exceptionally talented VP of people Operations. Inside our doors you will find a team of entrepreneurs with high integrity and dedication to our values. Success in this role requires someone who can be both an operational executor and business ally for the Executive team. They will be able to support a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment that thrives on tackling big challenges with the agility of a startup.

This role reports directly to the CEO.

 

You Will:

  • Be responsible for the day to day operations of Human Resources
  • Act as an advisor to Senior Leadership regarding organizational and personnel issues
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement relating to Human Resources administration, deliverables and reporting
  • Spearhead Training and Development programs for employees and Managers
  • Manage compensation and benefits administration
  • Professionally handle employee relations
  • Guide the performance management process, ensure relevancy to the business objectives, promote opportunity and provide actionable feedback
  • Ensure local and federal employment law compliance
  • Establish a positive, healthy and safe work environment
  • Oversee recruiting and attracting top talent in the industry
  • Own the company’s D&I goals and internal education programs

You Have:

  • 8-10 years’ experience in a progressive leadership role within Human Resources
  • Self-motivation and proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performing team environment
  • The ability to anticipate and problem solve independently.
  • Experience bringing process, structure and clarity without instituting bureaucracy or slowing the momentum
  • A respect for where the company stands today, and an understanding of how to pace the business change as well as anticipate the need for new strategies
  • Great communication skills – both verbal and written – with innovation, creativity and consistency in conveying the company culture
  • Knowledge of HR management, leadership principles and project management
  • BA/BS in a related field preferred
  • PHR or SPHR certification a plus
