Role Overview
At InStride, we take recruitment seriously! We want our candidates to have the best experience, and this role is essential to supporting InStride's recruitment practices and culture. This role will source and place candidates who are genuinely passionate about joining InStride and building an organization that impacts thousands (if not millions) of lives globally through access to quality education.
As a Sr. Recruiter, you will be crafting and maintaining strong candidate pipelines across our aggressive hiring roadmap, using a variety of resources. As a full-cycle Recruiter for both our Technical and Business roles, you will be responsible for candidate management and operational improvements. We're looking for someone who appreciates the art of finding great talent, loves storytelling with data, and is energized by building a team of tenacious, A-grade volunteers.
In addition to leading day-to-day recruiting efforts, this person will recommend improvements to our recruiting operations to streamline our recruiting processes, remove operational roadblocks, and identify/promote strategies and behaviors that bring us the highest quality candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide full life cycle, high volume recruiting support for a rapidly growing business
- Become a trusted recruitment advisor with our leaders to collaborate and drive alignment against our hiring roadmap
- Serve as the outward-facing point of contact between InStride and candidates
- Source, evaluate, network, and hire premier talent, with a high bar on "hire"
- Use hiring metrics to develop new and more efficient hiring solutions
- Focus on leading talent sourcing strategy - everything from goal setting and resourcing to running innovative sourcing programs that allow us to hit our hiring targets
- Regularly report on progress, flag hot spots, and work through creative solutions with the team
- Continue "leveling up" our recruiting process internally and externally, implementing new structures and processes as needed
- Establish consistency in the interview structure and process including how we leverage our ATS to inform interviewers on what and how they should evaluate candidates
- Spearhead new initiatives and maintain and improve recruiting programs such as but not limited to documentation, employment branding, training, candidate experience, relocation guide, etc.
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, with 2 years working in a Technology focused environment
- Proven success in finding, engaging, and hiring top talent through innovative sourcing strategies
- A deep understanding of sourcing technology, market trends, and talent strategy
- Strong command of metrics including pipeline data, pass-through rates, hiring forecast and recruiting capacity
- High aptitude for coaching, mentoring, and developing hiring teams
- Collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- High energy, proactive attitude with a constant bias to action
- Consistently demonstrates empathy and high emotional intelligence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a natural service orientation and friendly, positive demeanor
- Extremely well organized and with a sense of urgency - strong prioritization skills attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
