OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Employee Relations Sr. Manager to lead critical employee relations work on our People Operations team. People are the driving force of success at LegalZoom and we're building the team that drives our growth and shapes our culture. You will:• Partner with the People Operations and legal teams (internal and external) to drive a consistent ER process across the organization• Lead sensitive investigations on policy violations and employee relations matters• Resolve conflicts and effectively execute solutions on compliance and employee relations topics• Facilitate trainings to build employee relations skill set across People Operations team and people managers• Leverage insights to influence all levels of the business and effectively handle complex employee situations• Partner with the HRBP team on interventions required for employees, effective management of performance cases, and preventing employee relations risks• Recommend policy changes and enhancements based on investigation outcomes and trends• Coach and influence all levels of employees with the ability to successfully deliver difficult messages

You have:• 8+ years of directly applicable HR and employee relations experience• Knowledge of US employment laws and regulations, especially in California and Texas, and the ability to appropriately spot employment risks and issues• Track record of exercising sound judgement, while balancing acting with a sense of urgency and need for attention to detail• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey empathy while managing sensitive situations• Ability to successfully navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, fluid environment• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion• Excitement to build Employee Relations COE and lead foundational efforts• Experience in the technology industry strongly preferred• Bachelor's
