Senior HR Business Partner
InCloudCounsel is seeking our first HRBP to join our rapidly growing company. InCloudCounsel modernizes legal processes, globally, for many of the world's leading companies. We offer scalable, end-to-end solutions for processing routine contracts and abstracting complex documents by pairing our worldwide network of experienced lawyers with AI-enabled software. We also offer the first purpose-built software tool designed to help funds manage their obligations.
As one of the first members of our people team, the HRBP will have the exciting opportunity to help create foundational aspects of a growing people function at a company that’s transforming an industry. The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to key business leaders by driving core business outcomes through the development, planning, and implementation of people-centric strategies and programs.
The HRBP will report directly to the VP of People at InCloudCounsel, and the package includes competitive total compensation and full benefits. The preferred locations for this role are San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City.*

Responsibilities:
- Business partnership: Serve as the conduit between the people function and the business by leading key components of the people strategy such as: HR policies, employee relations, team-building, coaching, annual goal setting, performance management, succession planning, DE&I, culture, and compensation
- Organizational diagnostics: Leverage company-wide people data to identify organizational opportunities; turn data insights into informed decisions and targeted programs to promote people strategy and overall organizational health
- Organizational design: Collaborate with business leaders to develop organizational plans and structures by providing insight, guidance, and org design expertise
- Change management: Help lead organizational change efforts ensuring that change initiatives are thoroughly vetted, planned, and carefully implemented; apply HR knowledge and expertise to mitigate potential risk factors and maximize change adoption
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant HR experience in technology companies and/or fast-growth start-ups
- Strong working knowledge of US employer regulatory and compliance environment; international experience in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, or Singapore is a plus
- Ability to effectively use Excel / Google Sheets (vlookups, arrays, pivot tables, etc.) and other technologies for reporting and operations purposes
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Hyperorganized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced, lean environment, with a “no job too small” attitude
- Strong emotional intelligence, with a keen focus on discretion, sensitivity, and kindness in confidential matters
- Service-oriented mindset, with a white glove customer experience approach
