Senior Driver/Carrier Recruiter is responsible for identifying and sourcing qualified drivers (owner operators) and/or small fleet carriers. Follows all phases and functions related to carrier/driver relations; including but not limited to; setting up accounts, advocating for carrier needs, building and maintaining relationships, cold calling for sourcing, coordinating carrier events, and performance reporting. The position incorporates a high volume of carrier/driver interaction.

Essential Responsibilities

• Establish and cultivate partnerships with carrier/drivers that improve cost and service.
• On-boarding Carrier/Driver Capacity with a target of 30 drivers per month
• Carrier/Driver training, education and engagement with app
• Increase brand recognition of Next Trucking in market place
• Network and build new connections with carriers by source trucks by means of cold calling carriers through various capacity portals (DAT, Truckstop)
• Provide feedback to improve standard process and flow for shippers and truckers
• Text message and e-blast carriers via the app for coverage

Experience

• 5 + years leading recruitment and retention of company truck drivers and owner operators
• Experience establishing a scalable driver on-boarding, evaluation and training process
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast pace and changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgency
• Passion for technology and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Bachelor's degree preferred
