Recruiter and Staffing Manager (Contract)
As Sidebench grows and continues to grow our staff, we’re looking for a contract recruiter to join the team for the 3 to 6 months, with the opportunity to join on full-time if there’s mutual interest. This individual will be expected to be in the office at least 3 days a week and will be responsible for supercharging our candidate pipeline and to help Sidebench in continuing to build first-class recruiting practices.
The roles we’re currently staffing are Product & Business Analysts, Product Managers, UX & UI Designers, and marketing roles. In addition to full-time roles, we are also looking for someone to help us build and maintain a contract talent pipeline. Experience in hiring these roles for product-focused or startup companies is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain current hiring pipelines within Lever ATS and regularly check-in with the leadership and HR teams on the progress of hiring pipelines
- Gain a deep and thorough understanding of our hiring and recruiting needs across departments in the company to thoroughly map out hiring timelines and potential upcoming hires
- Creatively source candidates from sources including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, AngelList, Upwork
- Perform initial phone screens of all candidates across multiple pipelines
- Co-design an individualized hiring process for each role in tandem with HR and leadership
- Improve process design and company utilization of our ATS (Lever)
- Map out and stick to aggressive hiring timelines to complete hires within 30-45 days
- Collaborate on building our a talent roster of contract talent that can help the company flex up and down as needed
- Maximize our recruiting systems in both Lever and AirTable to maximize our data and analytics as they relate to recruiting
Qualifications
- 3-5 years recruiting for consulting firms or product design, specifically focusing on roles within tech
- Proven track record of making accurate hires on short recruiting timelines
- Extreme attention to detail across planning, resourcing, record keeping, and communication
- Ability to shift priorities quickly across multiple candidate pipelines according to current company needs
- Experience with sourcing and hiring contractors, executing their contracts, and properly onboarding them
- Experience working with an ATS (experience working with Lever is a plus!)
- Previous freelance or contract recruiting experience is preferred
- A welcoming attitude and ability to work well with a variety of internal stakeholders
