What we are looking for…

An energetic, organized and resourceful People + Talent Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of attracting and recruiting top caliber talent, preferably in the hospitality, start up and real estate industries. Job duties will primarily focus on talent acquisition and management, but will also involved training and development, policy and employee relations, performance management and reward and strategy. If you're a quick learner, problem solver, challenge driven with proven results, and want an inside look at a rapidly growing tech company, this is the perfect position for you.

What you'll do...

  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment initiatives including but not limited to creating and posting open requisitions, reviewing resumes, phone screenings, interviews and capability assessments.
  • Manage and conduct the new hire orientation and exit interview process.
  • Conduct training on new and existing programs, e.g. workplace harassment, performance management, management development training, etc.
  • Work with Accounting on payroll and benefits administration, as well as culture and wellness initiatives.
  • Partner with Director of Business Affairs on employee relations issues, governance, compensation and developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • HR database management which includes data entry, maintain accurate record keeping and producing reports, as needed.
  • Assist with policy administration including managing leave of absence requests, FMLA, vacation and sick time requests, workers compensation, etc.
  • Special projects, as needed including introduction and training employees on HR

What you'll bring...

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A strong sense of urgency and prioritization skills.
  • Able to get things done Independently while still being a team player.
  • Resourceful and desire to work and learn at a swifter than normally acceptable pace.
  • Must have extensive experience in recruiting and sourcing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem solving mentality and desire to consistently improve.
  • 3 - 5 years of human resources experience, including a focus on talent acquisition.
  • Experience recruiting in hospitality industry strongly preferred; start-up, real estate and vacation rental management experience also highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Recruitment Tools (Angellist, Workable, Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
