We are looking for a working manager to lead our Talent Acquisition team through this time of rapid growth for our company. Based in our Irvine, CA office, this position will be spearheading initiatives to add a diverse group of candidates to the talent pool, build Viant’s employer brand and enhance our systems and processes. Managing a team of recruiters, the Manager, Talent Acquisition will build strategic partnerships with department heads and hiring managers to define recruitment tactics and the processes to attract the best candidates to Viant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading a team of recruiters to deliver a well-qualified and diverse pool of best-in-class candidates to meet current and future business needs.
  • Develop short-and long-term talent acquisition plans and strategies aligned with business goals and the values of the company.
  • Partner closely with the business in all aspects of the recruitment process to ensure Viant is making high quality hiring decisions while creating a great candidate experience.
  • Coach and train the recruitment team on techniques to attract, source, interview, select, successfully close offers and onboard top talent.
  • Conduct recruitment for a book of requisitions
  • Be a role model to the recruiting team on best practices
  • Maximize opportunities to ensure roles are filled in a timely manner and ahead of business needs, and leverage KPIs to monitor and drive continuous improvement throughout the recruitment funnel.
  • Drive mastery of interview and assessment techniques within your team and across stakeholder groups.
  • Build a deep understanding of the business and relevant markets to help shape recruitment and sourcing efforts
  • Communicate changes to recruiting priorities, highlight opportunities for process improvement and support the development of recruiter’s skills.
  • Work with the management team to identify gaps and improve efficiencies with new hire onboarding.
  • Lead talent attraction and employment branding initiatives.

Competencies:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical recruiting or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience leading a team
  • Ability to lead strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Passion for developing high performing recruiters
  • Recruiting experience with technology companies preferred
  • Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter and the ability to train others in these skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have a desire to work in a fast-paced, high caliber and dynamic organization
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and conditions; ability to be collaborative, cross-functional and strategic
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong sense of accountability
  • Must possess an outstanding customer focus/ability to build rapport
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
