The opportunity:

We are looking to hire a Learning and Development Specialist to build out the onboarding and training processes for our hourly operations and retail teams (approximately 500 total employees). This person will own both creation of new training content as well as the implementation and rollout of this content across all of our markets throughout the country. They will then be responsible for continuing to manage and update these learning and development programs over time as the company scales.

What you'll do: 

  • Create robust onboarding plans for new hires and training plans for existing team members; update training resources as our product offering and business needs evolve
  • Schedule and facilitate onboarding sessions for operations and retail team members across a variety of locations
  • Track and report on team member completion and success rates 
  • Create ongoing content for continuous improvement 
  • Serve as a process and procedural resource for internal employees - answer "how to" questions on systems, processes, and policies
  • Stay informed of system and process updates; document changes and assist with communication and training
  • Ensure all training documentation is up-to-date, accurate and in line with policy
  • Assist with creating new training as needed
  • Oversee and organize knowledge base (Clutter Connect, WorkRamp, etc)
  • Identify and address opportunities where articles and videos could improve the employee experience

What we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in delivering exceptional remote and on-site instructor-led training, preferably with a background in an operations environment
  • Track record of achievement in a training role, preferably in a startup or logistics company
  • Powerful storyteller - strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • High energy, self-motivated, positive, and low ego
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and timeliness
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
