As Lead Workday Analyst, you’ll be responsible for project/program management of large and/or complex Workday and HR Systems related projects, building project plans and ensuring alignment to project schedules. You will develop, execute, and provide complex reporting and analytics for management and staff. Additionally, you will act as a Lead to the other members of the HR Systems team, helping to develop their craft. You will collaborate with partners throughout the business to ensure data and system infrastructure integrity, the quality of system changes, as well as the adoption of work systems. You will also dedicatedly find opportunities for process enhancement and craft development, and play an active role in overall HR System’s team health.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR’s leadership and partners to ensure HR’s technology strategy, operational business processes, and roadmaps are aligned with overall business goals
  • Lead implementation of large/complex cross-functional projects including determining stakeholders and business value, requirement gathering, change management, testing, deployment, and adoption
  • Optimize Team’s work system, delivery and outputs by implementing best industry practices, including establishment and adoption of testing cycles, data integrity audits, operational system tools and metrics, and project planning guidelines and methodologies
  • Review the results of system projects to assess if business requirements were met
  • Implement and recommend opportunities for operational excellence to improve process and systems efficiencies
  • Review and analyze customer interviews and requirements to provide appropriate recommendations to drive business decisions and improve operational practices
  • Translate high-level HR business requirements into functional specifications to define scope, prioritization, level set expectations and inform timelines/roadmaps
  • Design and develop advanced complex analysis and reporting that meet business user needs
  • Continuously look for ways to use technology and enterprise data to identify potential growth opportunities and/or operational excellence
  • Dedicated management of HR data and measuring the quality of the HR data used in analysis
  • Partner closely with Head of HR Systems and Operations to develop overall HR Systems strategy
  • Lead and act as a resource to the rest of the team, and help the team develop its craft
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the organization

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor (4-year) degree in Business, Human Resources, or with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science preferred.
  • 5 - 10 years of HR system administration or data analysis, configuration, integration, and prior experience with system implementations required. Workday experience required.
