The Lead Recruiter is the first level of people manager in our Recruiting organization. You are an impetus for developing the next generation of leaders as well as improving recruiting practices and interpreting recruiting trends. You will manage pods of individual contributors and engage in full-cycle recruiting of complex or senior positions. With a focus on driving and maintaining adherence to high standards for both your direct and peer teams, you will set goals, assign reqs and projects, and manage the health of recruiting for the area of the business they support.

As the Lead Recruiter for one of Riot's exciting new games (R&D), you will get a chance to build a creatively-focused team. In addition to partnering with the leadership team of one of Riot's new games to align team goals to the project's objectives, you will own the recruiting strategies in sync with the leadership team to build the right team and execute recruiting solutions. The clients you will work with span Art, Engineering, Production, and all of the rest of the game development functions required to ship a future AAA-game. You will also facilitate domestic and international transfers to/from the team you support, and generally make sure your team has all the staff needed to deliver the game to player's hands globally. Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle hiring process management
  • Review and qualification of incoming applicants, along with sourcing and qualifying passive candidates
  • Client management at a product-wide scale
  • Ensure that our dedicated talent pipes have appropriate representation and engagement strategies for both active and passive candidates
  • Find opportunities for improvement and drive appropriate recruiting strategies for the team with deep understanding of the competitive talent market and data analysis
  • Mentor and manage a balanced, happy, and productive Recruiting team with ~1 - 4 direct reports

Applicable Technologies:

  • Greenhouse or comparable Applicant Tracking Software
  • Research Tools including Linkedin, Boolean and deep web search skills
  • G Suite with an emphasis on Drive, Docs, Calendar, and Spreadsheets
  • CRM Tools including Salesforce, Workday, Tableau

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, developing and executing fully comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational chops
  • Excellent consultative, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills
  • Experienced in building substantial customer relations across verticals
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to self-direct and measure success individually and collectively with teams
  • Experience constructing and presenting compelling data-informed business cases
  • Proven ability to support/interact with senior-level management
