What you'll do:

  • Facilitate all phases of the recruitment process
  • Screen applications and engage with qualified candidates for multiple job openings
  • Source active and passive talent by leveraging job boards, LinkedIn, social networking, and referrals
  • Proactively collaborate with department managers to identify hiring needs, create job descriptions, and develop hiring criteria
  • Schedule interviews and oversee the preparation of interview questions and evaluation criteria
  • Maintain a meaningful connection with active candidates— keeping them informed throughout the hiring process
  • Explain company benefits, negotiate offers, conduct reference/background checks, and assist HR with the new hire onboarding process
  • Play a key role on the people team as an advocate for a positive employee experience
  • Assist in recruitment and hiring processes improvement
  • Become an UpKeep expert

What we're looking for:

  • A people-person who has a genuine love for recruiting— helping people find a new job makes you happy
  • Excited about helping a fast-growing startup achieve its hiring goals
  • Exceptional time management skills and can easily prioritize job openings
  • Experience with a modern ATS (Lever, Greenhouse, Zoho, Workable, etc)
  • You can find someone on LinkedIn who meets complex job requirements in under 1 minute (you will be tested on this skill)
  • 1 year of in-house recruiting experience is required

Location

We are a mostly remote team; however, our HQ is in Westwood Village near UCLA. Local employees love that we're surrounded by restaurants and stores.
