Position Overview

To help meet the demand of InvestCloud’s global hyper-growth, we are looking for an exceptionally talented, passionate, and data-driven technical trainer to join our team. This is a newly-created position within the Global Innovation Training team and the ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for on-boarding new hires into the Global Business Analysis training program and managing continuing learning and development for all analysts across the firm.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for software implementation, training development, facilitation and assessment for a critical business function.

This role will directly report to the Global Director of Training; with a functional reporting cadence to the BA Leadership team and the Chief Data Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic classroom training for new hires and existing employees with a focus on the implementation and delivery of financial products, business requirements gathering, and data analysis based on source data systems.
• Build relationships with SMEs across the Global Business Analyst team and cross-functions such as Product to assist with curriculum design, new course implementation, documentation and measuring effectiveness of learning activities.
• Experience delivering technical content to different audience levels via classroom, virtual classroom, and recorded format.
• Working with global cross-functional teams to ensure a single standard for online and classroom versions of training materials are aligned and continuously kept up-to-date.
• Running and assessing certification events and exams for trainees, as well as contributing to exam definition, creation and management.
• Mentor internal and external authorized instructors as part of a company-wide train-the-trainer program.
• Loving what you do, taking it seriously, and most importantly getting stuff done.

Skills & Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Trainer or Facilitator
• Expert with Excel and Data Analysis, including modeling, lookups and presenting results
• Knowledge of investment management, portfolio accounting, financial markets and performance calculations
• Technical Expertise with Data Architecture, Analysis and Design
• Strong or expert knowledge of:
  • Relational database architectures
  • Java exposure is a plus
  • ETL methodologies
• Strong ability to abstract sophisticated concepts and present it to others with a simplified(KISS approach)
• Strong collaborative and project management skills to work closely with subject matter experts to develop curricula
• Well organized, detailed oriented with a critical eye on grammar and punctuation
• Outstanding public speaking skills
• Availability for domestic and international travel
• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or STEM field with a record of achievement

A Plus if You Have

• Experience in Video and E-Learning Modules
• Experience in Training Needs Analysis and Curriculum Design
• Understanding of Product Development Lifecycle and SaaS delivery
• Demonstrated success in software implementation in the FinTech domain
• Past Experience in a Technical Consultant role
• Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or STEM field
